Offered across a broad range of variants, engine choices, and transmission options, the new Kia Seltos competes directly with popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, and Maruti Suzuki Victoris.
Bigger dimensions and new design language
The second-generation Seltos is built on Kia’s global K3 platform and is larger than its predecessor. It measures 4,460mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and features a wheelbase of 2,690mm, offering improved cabin space.
On the outside, the SUV showcases Kia’s latest design philosophy with a wider dark chrome grille, split LED DRLs, flush-fitting automatic door handles, and animated welcome lighting. Buyers can choose from up to 10 monotone exterior colours, including new shades like Morning Haze and Magma Red. Alloy wheels go up to 18 inches in size.
Interior upgrades and technology
The cabin of the new Seltos receives a significant tech upgrade. The centerpiece is a massive 30-inch panoramic display panel that integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Audio duties are handled by a Bose eight-speaker sound system.
Additional premium features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, proximity-based smart entry, a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat with memory and relaxation modes, ventilated front seats, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Safety and ADAS features
Safety has been strengthened with a standard 24-feature safety suite across the range. This includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist.
The SUV is also equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering 21 autonomous functions aimed at enhancing both highway and city driving safety.
