New Zealand Seal ODI Series with Convincing 41-Run Victory Over India in Indore
New Zealand delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat India by 41 runs in the third and final One Day International played in Indore on Sunday night. With this win, the visitors sealed the three-match ODI series 2–1, ending India’s hopes of a comeback after their lone victory in the opening match.
Chasing a challenging target of 338 runs, India began their innings under pressure and struggled early as the New Zealand bowlers made crucial breakthroughs. The Indian top order collapsed within the first 13 overs, losing four wickets and placing the home side on the back foot despite a good batting surface.
Veteran batter Virat Kohli stood firm amid the collapse and played a magnificent knock, scoring a well-crafted century.
